These flameworking glasses offer excellent UV blocker, excellent IR protection, excellent sodium flare blocker, and excellent clarity. Recommended for those who work with lampwork or hot glass in small pieces.

These lampworking glasses TP395 have a durable and lightweight oversized frame made of high-quality plastic. The TP395 lampworking glasses feature removable side shields, rubberized nosepads and temple bars. These Phillips Safety lampworking glasses are available in gray/blue and light gray/green.

Lampworking is a type of glasswork in which a torch or lamp is used to melt the glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements. It is also known as flameworking or torchworking, as the modern practice no longer uses oil-fueled lamps.
