What is Order Process?

  1. Choose your favorite frame on the VS Eyewear website. 
  2. Click ‘SELECT LENSES’ to select your lens type, tint, and coating.
  3. Click ‘NEXT’ to upload or fill out your prescription information. 
  4. Click ‘NEXT’ to add any comment you think is important for us to know. This is an optional choice. 
  5. Click ‘ADD TO CART’ to get your prescription frame added to the shopping cart and ready to check out.

The subtotal of your cart, along with a breakdown of the options you selected is visible at the bottom of the page.

This option is perfect for customers still deciding which frame is right for them. Non prescription frames are 100% returnable as long as they are returned in new condition.

How Long Do Orders Take to Ship?

Prescription glasses will normally ship within 7-10 business days.  Our production time can vary depending on frame availability and certain lens options.  Your order will ship via the method you select during the checkout process.  Unfortunately, the method of shipping that you choose will not cut down on production time.  Therefore, selecting Next Day Air does not mean that you will receive your order the next day. It only means that UPS will ship it to you in one day from the time that they pick up the package from our facility.

We stock a broad range of our Visionaries clip on sunglasses, but cannot stock all models.  If they are not in stock, the clip on glasses normally ship within 3 business days.

What is Your Order Cancellation Policy?

No prescription order can be canceled once it enters our lab; however, if you wish to cancel your order before it goes into the lab (usually in less than one-two business days), there is no penalty to cancel and refund or change the order. Any stock order can be canceled at any time, until the glasses ship. Once the glasses are shipped they will have to be returned and you are responsible for all shipping fees. Special orders are subject to a 30% restocking charge.

How Do I Get May Order Status?

Do I need to Send in my Frames for a Replacement Lens Order?

The production process for lens orders begins with the tracing of your frame. This process allows us to cut your lenses to the perfect shape and size.  Also, it is best for us to ship you your lenses already installed in your frames. This lowers the risk of damage to the lenses. Therefore, we ask you to send us the frame for a lens order to ensure a perfect fit and longevity for your new lenses.

I Cannot Find Where I Enter my Prescription Information?

Once you find the frame you are interested in, simply click the ‘SELECT LENSES’ button. This will take you to the lens options page where you can select the type of lenses you prefer, as well as any tints or coatings. Hitting the “NEXT” button will then take you to the prescription entry page. At this point, you can select your prescription numbers from the drop down menus, and/or upload a copy of your prescription.

What Payment Methods do You Accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express, Klarna and PayPal. You can also send us a money order or a check in the mail, at the checkout options use the “Print and mail” option this allows you to send us your order via the US postal service. Sorry but we do not ship C.O.D.

Where do I Enter My Coupon Code?

While in your shopping cart, the coupon code can be entered into the black field between the list of items in your cart and where you enter your billing and shipping information.

Do You Accept Insurance?

We do not accept insurance directly. However, you can submit your VS Eyewear purchase for reimbursement to your insurance company, CLICK HERE to learn more details.

Will I get an itemized invoice with my purchase?

Yes, an itemized invoice/receipt will emailed to you at the time of purchase. You can also request an official copy by emailing our customer service team at [email protected].  Certain insurance companies might want it broken down differently.

Do I have to create an account to order from VS Eyewear

No, you can choose to check out as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to save your prescription information and other preferences that can make shopping on vseyewear.com quicker and more convenient in the future.

Why can I order a higher prescription wrap online, yet you tell me I’m not a candidate for a wrap because my prescription is too high?

Because of the complicated nature of prescription lenses in wraparound frames, there are many variables which work together to decide whether a prescription wrap will work for you.  Those who are on the cusp are the only ones who may be able to order even though a wrap won’t work for them. Be advised that we do allow customers to cancel for a full refund if they order a frame that won’t work for them and aren’t interested in switching to one that will.  Here is a collection of some of our most popular frames that have more of a wrap appearance and can be used with higher prescriptions.

Do you have any stores near me where I can try your glasses on?

We do have a storefront in Bangor PA where we stock a broad range of our frames as well as an abundance of finished glasses. You can also purchase frames for fit. If you are not satisfied with the frame you can return for a full refund or we can send out another you may be interested in. You can order multiple frames at a time. When you are ready to return them for fill we will apply a credit of the frames you didn’t select towards your fill.

I ordered Prescription glasses 2 days ago and I paid for 2-day delivery—why don’t I have my glasses yet?

Your glasses will be shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air when they are finished, but your shipping option does not affect the order’s processing time. Most orders take about two weeks to be processed prior to shipping.

What happens if my Prescription Safety glasses don’t seem correct?

We guarantee 100% accuracy on all prescriptions or they will be remade at no charge. Prior to leaving VS Eyewear, all prescription eyeglasses undergo a stringent quality control hand inspection. The lenses are checked at four different stations for accuracy. We pride ourselves in our workmanship. Accurately filling your prescription is our number one priority.  If you have to return the glasses we send them out to get inspected by a neutral laboratory.  In the unlikely event that our quality control measures fail, we will promptly and courteously remake the lenses

Why do you have dark lenses pictured on your website when the product has clear lenses?

Our prescription order page allows you to order your glasses with whatever type of lenses you choose. If you choose clear lenses instead of a dark lens, your glasses will come with clear lenses. Frames are generally pictured with dark lenses only if they’re commonly ordered with dark lenses. Those that are generally ordered in clear are pictured with clear lenses, but all of our prescription eyewear is available with lens color options.
