Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance directly. However, you can submit your VS Eyewear purchase for reimbursement to your insurance company.  Most insurance companies may reimburse you for your lenses. You will be supplied a receipt when your glasses are shipped to you to use to file your own insurance claim. Please check your individual policy for requirements and restrictions.

All lenses are sold in pairs and the price you see is your total for both lenses.

Absolutely in the 1.53 lenses!  As long as you send us ANSI Z87 approved frames, we can make up safety lenses for them.  The program works identical to our Designer dress eyeglass lens replacement program.

NOTE:  The glass replacement lenses will not be impact resistant.

There are two ways to pay:

• If you have an FSA or HSA debit card, you simply enter that card’s information at check-out, just as you would with a normal credit card.
• If you do not have an FSA or HSA debit card, you must make your purchase using another credit card and be reimbursed directly from your FSA or HSA provider. Reimbursement forms, along with itemized receipts and invoices, are usually required by FSA or HSA providers. An invoice/receipt will be emailed to you at the time of purchase, while I hard copy will come with your purchase.

To keep your glasses in great condition and to get the most out of them in your time, follow these simple steps.
Rinse:  Take your glasses and run them under some lukewarm water to rinse away any salt, sunscreen or other unwanted debris.
Clean:  Take a dash of mild soap and lightly apply it to the lenses. Use your fingers to gently spread it across the lens and cover the full surface.
Rinse again:  Once you’ve applied the soap, run your glasses under water again ensuring that all residue is removed.
Dry:  For the final step, take your microfiber cloth and gently dry your eyewear. Make sure to do this thoroughly!

Real glass replacement lenses are new optical glass lenses custom-made to fit your existing eyeglass frames. They use premium tempered or high-index glass to restore clarity, durability, and performance without buying a new pair of glasses.

Not all frames can safely hold glass lenses. Glass replacement lenses are compatible with:

Yes. Modern real glass lenses undergo thermal tempering or chemical strengthening to dramatically increase impact resistance.  While safer than old, untreated glass lenses, glass is still not recommended for high-impact activities or children.

Most prescriptions can be made, including:

• Single vision

• FT-28 bifocal

• Trifocal (limited availability)

• Progressive / no-line multifocal

• High-power prescriptions (high myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism)

High-index options, including 1.70, 1.80, and 1.90, are available for stronger prescriptions.

Yes. High-index glass replacement lenses can be much thinner than standard glass.  The higher the index, the thinner the lens — especially helpful for strong prescriptions.

Yes. Replacement glass lenses can be ordered with:

• Polarized glass (excellent for sunglasses)

• Solid tints

• Photochromic, color-changing (Transitions-style) glass

• Specialty glass filters (e.g., green, gray, brown, G-15)

Tint availability depends on index and lens type.

Common coatings include:

• Anti-reflective (AR) – highly recommended

• Hydrophobic / oleophobic coating

• UV protection

Glass already has excellent scratch resistance, so a hard coat is rarely needed.
