After all these years and all these adventures, our mission has never wavered: to create the clearest sunglasses on the planet for life’s great adventures. And the patented technology like those found only in Costa lenses and frames are proof that we’re succeeding.
We build the clearest sunglasses on the planet for those who live to be on the water. Born on the water and we’re still inspired by it. We want to be on it, we want to protect it, and we want to inspire others to do the same.
Greetings from your friends at Costa Sunglasses and VS Eyewear! We are now ready to introduce to you several of our new 2016 styles.
Costa ANAA: A short flight east and a million miles away from the tourist throngs of Tahiti, you’ll find the unspoiled atoll of Anaa. Friendly locals will welcome you with handcrafted necklaces of coconut blossoms and smiles that can’t be faked. These Costas with full coverage lenses in a teacup shape will bring that warmth to everyone you meet back in your world.
Costa COPRA: Resourceful islanders know how to live sustainably, making use of every part of the plentiful coconut trees. Copra – dried, chopped coconut – is pressed for valuable oil, and the broad palm leeaves of the coconut trees provide cover from the fierce South Pacific sun. These full-coverage sunglasses provide natural shade as well. The frames are made with resin from the castor plant.
Costa MOTU: Take a break from the clear salt flats and anchor up at a small motu. These islets made of crushed coral sand are the perfect spot to have a cold drink or two while you plan what not to do for the rest of the day. These frames have a relieved face curve for total comfort and an optical-quality spring hinge leaving nothing to worry about.
Costa NORTH TURN: Racing history began at the north turn of the course that ran along Daytona Beach during the ’30’s to the ’50’s. We pay tribute with this metal frame that carries a bold profile and timeless styling. The rectangular lenses are also available in prescription, so you can see well past any turn in your path.
Costa RAFAEL: Ever know a guide whose eyes seemed perfectly calibrated to local waters? Who could spot a bonefish among the shadows long before anyone else? Meet Rafael. These performance Costas with aggressive styling have a wide temple design and signature three-square hole venting to keep those sacred eyes nice and cool.
Costa TREVALLY: Don’t let its good looks fool you; the Trevally is a hard-fighting fish and a prized catch for any salt angler in tropical waters. And just like the fish, these sunglasses come in a variety of colors. This unisex frame features co-molding technologies, a cam action pin hinge, and gripper temple holes to make sure they don’t get away.
These new frames are perfect for the Costa customer who looks to combine exciting styling with the quality and performance of Costa’s proprietary 580 lens technology.
