BoroView 5.0 Model 1205 Lampworking Glasses

BoroView 5.0 Model 1205 for Lampworking & Flameworking

At VS Eyewear, our BoroView Shade #5 Lampworking Glasses are engineered for flame artists working with smaller borosilicate pieces, soft glass, and bead-making applications. Operating a high-temperature torch creates intense sodium flare and infrared (IR) heat that can obscure details and strain the eyes over time. BoroView Shade #5 lenses utilize specialized optical filters to effectively block blinding sodium flare while providing high Visual Light Transmission (VLT), allowing artists to see their work with true color recognition and exceptional clarity in lower-light or lower-BTU flame settings.

In addition to suppressing sodium flare, BoroView Shade #5 optics deliver broad-spectrum defense against harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation and IR thermal energy. Crafted for long hours at the workbench, these lenses are housed in lightweight, ergonomic safety frames that meet ANSI Z87.1 high-velocity impact standards. Available in both non-prescription and custom prescription (Rx) options, BoroView Shade #5 glasses from VS Eyewear give artists the perfect balance of heat mitigation, impact safety, and optical precision for detailed torchwork.
